DON WEST: OWNER
Owner of Wasatch Trails Company has been involved in trail advocacy and trail building since 1997. Donald has a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Arkansas. He has been President of the Ozark Off Road Cyclists and has worked with or for Eastin Outdoors, Progressive Trail Design, Alpine Trails, Trail Ace Construction, and Rogue Trails. Don has over 13 years of excavator experience. Don has published a trail guide for Northern Arkansas and produced a custom trail map for Devil's Den State park in Arkansas. Don will use his 22 years of experience to help you create the trail of your dreams.
DAN BLACK: OPERATOR
Dan Black has a B.S. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from the University of Utah. He cut his teeth in Bike Park operations at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT. He went on to develop trails at Park City Mountain Resort/Canyons. He developed his trade into a profession at Sagebrush Trails building at Highstar Ranch, Victory Ranch, and 9 Line Dirt Jumps. You can find his latest creations at Farmington, Tuhaye, and Herriman.
CANYON JONES: TRAIL CREW
Canyon is a local from Sandy, Utah. If it has anything to do with athletics and the outdoors, Canyon is probably has a natural talent for it. Canyon will use his years of dirt jumping experience and downhill mountain bike riding to sculpt the perfect berms and dirt jump lips.
CAYDEN BOLL: TRAIL CREW
Cayden Boll is an mechanical engineering student at Brigham Young University. Cayden has experience working for the Northwest Avalanche Center in Seattle, Washington and has volunteered for the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. Cayden also speaks fluent Japanese and plays the bass.
SPENCER LUCZAK: OPERATOR
Spencer comes to us from the world of motorcross. Spencer has a B.A, in Business Management from Westminster College. He has built world class tracks on his family’s property in Coalville, Utah and is a Young Riders mountain bike coach in Park City, Utah. Now he wants to build amazing mountain bike trails. Spencer is an expert motorcycle builder and has some amazing completed projects.
DANIEL ENGLUND: TRAIL CREW
Daniel comes to us from upstate Michigan. He has a background in freelance videography and photography. Dan is an award winning videographer for his work on “Capture the Keweenaw.” This mountain bike film focuses on the trail at Copper Harbor in Michigan. Dan is also an expert downhill rider and backcountry skier, which means he’s not afraid to ride the biggest lines on the mountain.
