Wasatch Trails Company recently finished a 1.6 mile section of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail in Herriman, UT. The trail connects Diamondback Trail on the east side to 6600 West. The trail utilizes a short section of road, but still boasts more than 70% singletrack. The project was funded by Salt Lake County and supported by the Herriman Trails Committee. Look for more trails in Herriman in the near future. Go to Trailforks website: https://www.trailforks.com/trails/herriman-bst/ for more information.
The City of Alpine and Wasatch Trails Company will host a trail work day at Lambert Park April 27th from 8am-12pm. The City of Alpine will be renting an excavator and Wasatch Trails Company will provide the operator to work on the Ruin Trail. Ruin is a downhill oriented trail, so we will be improving the jumps and berms on the trail.
Please wear sturdy work boots, gloves, and eye protection. We’ll be doing some corridor clearing, so feel free to bring your own tools. If you have questions, contact Donald West at 385-444-6666 or email email@example.com.
The City of Herriman is adding on to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Trail contruction has begun on a new 1.6 mile section of the trail. The trail connects an existing section of the BST near the Blackridge Reservoir to 6600 West Str. in Herriman. Look for additional connects to Yellow Fork Trails in 2020.
The City of Alpine continues its improvements by hiring Wasatch Trails Company to build reroutes and maintain a 1/2 mile section of the Dry Creek Trail. The trail is located off of West Canyon Creek Road. Please respect trail closure signs during construction and maintenance. We’ll be keeping you up to date on our progress on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/wasatchtrailscompany/
Three Falls Subdivision, owned by Pine Valley Realty, is still waiting on approval from the City of Lehi to open the eastern most connection of the Three Falls Trail. A new water tower is being built near the Schoolhouse Spring. When the road to the tower is finished, we will make the final connection. This will allow riders to ride singletrack from Alpine to Draper and is a major connection to the Corner Canyon Trail System. We will keep you updated on any changes.
The Mercer Mountain Trail in Draper, UT is a 1.3 mile trail connecting the Mercer Hollow Trail to the Sewer Line Road. The Sewer Line Road connects Mercer Hollow to Hog Hollow. The Corner Canyon Foundation funded this project. Look for a few optional lines on the trail including jumps, rock gardens, and rock roll overs. Look for connections to other Wasatch Trails Company trails including Eagle Crest Trail, Woods Hollow, and Pork U Pine Trail. Enjoy.
